I'm pretty loyal to the brands I wear, so for the most part, I know my size. I think that that brand has gone in a really great direction, and it's gotten so fun and a little more youthful. Who I'm really loving lately is Kate Spade. I'm getting worse and worse at this question! I've always been a big fan of Phillip Lim. Most days I wear a skinny jean with either a heel or a bootie - or if it's a little more casual, I'll do a ballet flat - and then a button-down, whether it be silk, chiffon, or cotton. A lot of times I'm going from a lunch to a meeting to the office, and I need something that works for different occasions and is appropriate for different settings. I'm rarely doing just one thing in a day. I actually do have a uniform just for day-to-day. It's all part of the past, trial and error. I shudder when I think back to the outfits I used to wear in the beginning, going up to that office. So when I moved to LA and I got to work at Teen Vogue, that was a really great opportunity for me. That was sort of all I'd been exposed to. I lived in Orange County and lived near the beach. I think that like most girls in high school, I just mirrored what was around me. I definitely had the opportunity to develop my own style. But the outfits weren't great, the dye jobs weren't great. It was a new concept and sort of the purest form of reality. It was a really cool time when shows weren't trying to one up each other. MTV reshowed it this summer, and I was like, "Oh, God!" I thought it was gone forever.
